Two hours of early evening hunting and the salt water yielded another gold ring to the awesome Dual Field!!

This makes number five in only a week's spare time hunting.

It is a 14K ring with a name on it as opposed to initials.

I have been very carefully working out this area, but this evening I decided it was time to make a fast and dirty pass over the a whole area to pick up those obvious signals rather than waste a lot of time digging every weak signal which has so far yielded only odd bits of junk metal and hair pins!

The very first "obvious= strong) signal I got was this ring!!

Sometimes it pays to follow hunches!!

GL & HH Friends,

CJ

PS Friends, in all fairness to the other machines I have been using I don't think any of these finds were unusual in depth and that any of my other four water machines could have yealded these results, but I have enjoyed usind the DF and will continue to use it until I find something better!!

So far I have only hunted in the salt water, but one day I would like to hunt a lake or two.

I would use an Excal or some similar machine in fresh water though unless the hunters had really stripped away all the scrap metal by heavy hunting and then I might consider the DF.

GL&HH Friend,

CJ, I just got out of Lake Washington a couple hours ago with my Dual Field.
I do not wade. I dive or snorkel. Been diving one tank dives for the last few
weeks in about four feet of water. Today I got a 10k ring with a red/ purple
stone, a 1919 wheatie, a bath house pin, a Washington State tax token.
Every thing in this part of the lake is deep in the sand. Even with the Dual
Field or my White PI Pro, the goodies are a whisper. I fan 'em up and move
a lot of sand. Good hunting to you.

Hi Bill,

Different strokes for different folks Friend!

I find so much enjoyment hunting the local salt water beaches that I will probably keep at it as long as I can.

Waders, a big home made scoop and a good detector are all I need,

So far it has paid off and I am enjoying myself too!

What more can an old guy want?

GL&HH Friend,
