:usaflag: Hunted out school lot

Bill in Texas

New member
:detecting: Well there is a school that is about 2 blocks from my house. It is supposed to be completely hunted out. There is someone there hunting a lot. Now that is a challenge to me and my Vaquero, so I hit it about a hour this morning. I found a little sterling ring and a sterling horse drop (next to the truck). I hate hunting the tot lots at this school because they have white powdery pea gravel that gets all over everything. Here is my good stuff? I seem to find little bells every where I hunt. As always I did not show the junk that I dug (well I guess that it depends on what you call junk). Had fun, Bill in Texas :tesoro:

Congrats on the Silver! I really like the ring. That also shows you what "hunted out" means don't it, Beale.

I know what you mean about the powdery pea gravel. Our local grade school has that stuff where all the playground equipment is. Everything you find in it has a chalky white appearance. I don't mind with the coins but anything else looks terrible.
