I used the Dual Field and found mostly junk (a PI thing) with a couple of coins and a small senior ring.

I've never seen a ring with these markings and discolored as this one is so quickly.

It is for the class of 2009!

I should have no problem returning it, but am puzzled by what these markings (ACCR PSS PAT. PEND) mean.

It isn't any kind of gold I'm pretty sure.

I think PSS is the alloy but cant find anything that ID's it.

Hope this helps

It's a nuisance, but I'm living with it!

I wade and don't dive so I tether the machine to my belt.

Today I let 'er drift and found that as long as the water isn't tossing the machine about I will keep doing it (letting her float).

I use a floating sifter and this way I can scan the nonmetallic sifter for metal to see if I have my target and with the beast floating it is easier to keep it out of the way!

When the water gets rough I will tether it again!

Love them water finds. Im not certain what "PSS" is an acronym for, but I'm pretty sure PSS means = not gold, not platinum, not treasure.
