That's as good as it gets in Connecticut in mid January and I wanted to get out in the water so bad I could hardly stand it!!

Off to the beach ready to hunt, but a westerly breeze had stirred up the water so that it would be a struggle to get out there today!!

When I am hunting I don't want my enjoyment ruined by struggle so I had to put it off to another day.(Maybe tomorrow!!)

Slightly different perspective, no wind and the water is almost like a reflecting pool by comparison with yesterday.

Guess who has a house full of family coming and will not be able to hunt today!!

At least 5 Grand-kids will make this day worth missing a hunt!

GL&HH All,

CJ

Hi Cupajo,
There are some things more important than metal detecting (not many though) and family is one of them. Enjoy both while you can.
