Digging my way through a submerged boulder field this AM almost has me in traction, but this tiny 14K ring is proof that if it is there the DF will find it!

It is so small it won't go past the first knuckle of my pinky finger and the carat designation is stamped outside the ring on the small part of the band and nearly invisible from wear. (.525)

I can't tell what kind of stone it is, but not worth getting excited about for sure.

Recovered 1-1/2 oz and 1-10oz lead sinker, 9-quarters, 9-nickles, a few pennies, a small silver toe ring and a couple of pieces of junk jewelry and a few pieces of scrap metal in just about four hours of steady digging! This old hunter is tired Friends,

I dont know if your just living right or what, you sure have a nose for the gold...stay in it!

Very nice find !

Thanks for your replies Friends!

As small as the ring is I think it belonged to a teenager with small hands.

It shows some wear indicating it wasn't lost new, but had been worn for some time.

Tiny, yet sturdy European design and marking.
