18Degrees with a gentle wind out of the north to keep it that way when I woke up this AM!
When the sun climbed into a sky clearing of clouds I began thinking there might be a chance-----------!
By the time the tide was at the top end of low I knew that as long as the sun co-operated I would have a decent hunt!
Several layers of high tech thermals and 5Mil Cabella waders allowed me to hunt the "Rock Garden" for 31/2 hours with perfect comfort in 28 degree air!
The rocky bed was covered with 10-12" of sand where I hunted and it has been covered with a foot or so more than that preventing hunting there!
The part of the beach where I usually hunt is now under too much sand.
I waded out to just a little above knee deep water.
Temps climbed a few degrees and the wind switched around out of the south/southeast, the sun hid behind clouds, forcasted snow showers arrived and the water started to produce a bit of chop about an hour before I called it quits for the day.
Today's Catch--32 targets recovered with four keepers, 1-silver dime, 1-silver quarter, 1-silver ring and 1-14K wedding band dated 1960!
The first 2 targets were .45Cal. bullets a couple of feet apart that produced a whisper of sound.

Most of the coins were the whisper signals too, which were only heard because conditions were so quiet.
All in all a great day for a hunt!!
Mr. Dual Field, Diablo and I had a fine time!
