From the condition of the join where the 5.7 Gram, 18K band was formed or sized I would say this one was in the water a long time. (No date, buit the join is eaten away and discolored!)

Mr. Dual Field, Diablo and I water hunted 41/2 hours and stumbled into a spot where the sand had shifted and was thinner than a couple of days ago when I hunted the same place.

It wasn't far from the last ring I posted and again was in a heavily hunted place.

I guess the Treasure Gods got tired of watching me stumble along on the stones and took pitty on an Old Hunter!!

GL&HH Friends,

I have to walk on stones to the sand at one beach. It isn't pretty. I would much rather lay down and snorkel above the stones than try to walk on them. But walk and detect?? CRAZY!! I am moving the bigger ones and finding stuff I would have missed if I didn't. The religious medal I got yesterday is a good example. I moved a big rock and got the signal. Maybe you need a mask and snorkel and you would find more if you moved the stones around. LOL but thats a lot of work.

Another nice piece of old gold for your collection. Congrats

Thanks Bob!!

SD if I was hunting in fresh water I would hunt just like you do!

Where I hunt the water is rarely clear and there are always people in the water during the "swim" season.

The Caribbean waters would be ideal in my book, but I've never hunted them. (Maybe if I had I would find it not so perfect?)

Thanks for your reply Friends,

CJ
