Two years ago a neighbor asked me to help him find his wedding band lost on our community beach. He placed it in the cup holder of hid beach chair and went swimming. When he returned home he realized he no longer had the ring and returned to the beach to look for it.

It was late in the day and he put off contacting me until the next day. By the time we got there the cleaning machine had been there and I wasn

When I think of all the stories of rings etc returned that occurred before the Internet existed----------

Some of the memories are as clear as can be and I've posted a few on the 20th Century Tales Forum that are both moving and funny.

These are nearly always emotional events and one must be aware of that especially when the one you are helping is huge and can hurt you easily without even knowing they have done it in the heat of the moment!

cool deal man, may6be ill will be that fortunate one day to help out a fella or madame' like that.... by the way im a rookie to this stuff may I ask what type of detector you were using?

My water detector of choice these days is the White's Dual Field and my scoop the Diablo.

They both perform very well in the harsh hunting conditions I deal with locally.
