:usaflag:Garrett Crossfire coil..

:usaflag:I have a hunting buddy who has a Garrett Master Hunter as a back-up detector. I have a hunting spot that requires a larger coil to get to deeper coins that we know are present. He offered to let me use the 12" Crossfire coil...is this coil compatible with my Ace 250 or will it actually harm my detector?

it wont fit different connection and as the ace is 6.5KHz and the crossfire is a 7.6KHz so it will need calibrating to get full depth...all the compatable coils for the ace 250 and 150 are black. and master hunter, gti, gtax, ace 300 are white.
