:usaflag: Five Hour Water Hunt!!:detecting:

Long Island Sound was perfect with no waves and no wind as I stepped into the outgoing tide at 8:30 this AM.

One of my first targets recovered was a quarter, which usually I consider a good sign.

Lots of iron and aluminum along here at this section of beach in front of waterfront cottages, a real challenge of patience and staying power.

Lots of junk metal and a few coins at the 4 hour mark when I found this nice silver ring in my sifter (The only memorable find of the hunt!).

At five hours I decided I had about all the fun I could stand for one day and packed it in.

The total targets recovered were 85. (Keepers numbered 29!!!)

Later, I discovered the ring is a Tiffany and Co. 925!

Good find in that ring.
Had to dig lots of trash for that one !

Many thanks for your replies Fellow Hunters!

The silver ring was a nice find, but this one makes me glad I went hunting!

This was a PI hunt and one more reason for using a PI machine!

This thing is a 4" wide bracket of some sort an buried in the shifting sand of a popular swimming beach!!!

I have to wonder how someone hasn't been rushed to the hospital by now from stepping on it!!!!!

Thought at first I was seeing coins!! Glad you got out and had fun. One nasty corner bracket from a boat it looks like. Nice T&C ring. I have 2 from them now and a bracelett.
