Long Island Sound was perfect with no waves and no wind as I stepped into the outgoing tide at 8:30 this AM.
One of my first targets recovered was a quarter, which usually I consider a good sign.
Lots of iron and aluminum along here at this section of beach in front of waterfront cottages, a real challenge of patience and staying power.
Lots of junk metal and a few coins at the 4 hour mark when I found this nice silver ring in my sifter (The only memorable find of the hunt!).

At five hours I decided I had about all the fun I could stand for one day and packed it in.

The total targets recovered were 85. (Keepers numbered 29!!!)

Later, I discovered the ring is a Tiffany and Co. 925!

I paid my dues today Friends,
