!-5-13 = 4 sinkers, 1-clad quarter, 1-zincoln in 1.5 hours of wet sand/stony digging!!
1-6-13 1- sinker, 1-clad dime, 1-Merc. in 1.5 hours of rough knee to waist deep water hunting with mostly sandy bottom!!
1-7-13 1-sinker, some clad, a little silver including a ring, a silver Rosie and a Merc. and a couple of ver small religious medals and a nice 10K signet ring inscribed "RED" with a total of 4o targets recovered in 2.5 hours in all sandy bottom. The sand was of a consistancy that was hard to get outa my scoop into the sifter and then hard to break down so it would pass through the sifter!! Kinda like clay!!

This was a spot where the water had stripped down the sand allowing access to the goodies.
Yesterday there were two young hunters there one with a Sand Shark and I don't know what the other was using. The ring was recovered from among several holes and was fairly deep.
Dual Field, Diablo and this Old Hunter did it again!!
The young fella told me yesterday that he had recovered only silver, but I couldn't stay until he and his partner were done hunting, so I don't know what the final tally was.
Today I was hunting among lotsa holes and there are only 5 pieces of "junk"!!
The rest are keepers including any re-sellable brass and fishing sinkers.
2013 off to a good start!!
