Thank you Gulf Hunter for the number you provided me to connect with Minelab!!

The young lady on the Las Vegas end of the line informed me that my machine was very likely one of the original production models from 1993!!

Had I known that I would have never paid the sum I paid for the machine and had I known it was leaking I also would have never bought the machine, but that being said I'm glad I have it, because it is an amazing machine!!

I have several hunting sites where I want to run it through its paces and based on what I've seen so far I expect nothing less than excellence!

This may get deleted but Gary Storm of Detector Pro designed and built the original Excals... Have had a number of people tell me that they are more stable, go deeper and have a better tone seperation than minelabs version. Just my 2 cents worth...
