Conditions were near perfect when Frank and I met at a little before 8AM this morning. As a long time (2 years or so) DF user I offered Frank all the Dual Field wisdom I could muster.
As an experienced dry land hunter who had no PI experience Frank did pretty well and used his new machine for a couple of hours or so before returning to his Excal to finish off the 31/2 Hour hunt.
Frank admitted that after using the Excal for several hunts , the DF was pretty overwhelming in the amount of signals and the difficulty with recovering targets.
Frank my Friend, Ya done good for your first DF hunt!! Keep at it and soon you'll get the hang of pin-pointing and will avoid chasing targets to China!!
Not many hunters can say they recovered a nice silver ring as their second target!!
