:usaflag: Bill I thought you were a jewelry hunter?

:detecting: Well sometimes when I just set the Vaquero on foil and beep and dig (not the deep ones) I find nothing but coins. This bunch was found in a city park where there is nothing but 3 ball fields (sand lot style). Being in Kerrville you need a jack-hammer to dig anything deep, so with my bad hips I don't. Four dimes and 14 pennies (no quarters) tells me I am not the first to hunt this area. It is a full city block and I only hunted a small part of it (about 2500 square feet). I will try it a couple of more times. Bill in Texas :tesoro:

As long as it's producing is what would keep me going back. I started an area maybe a year and half ago which has several ball fields. Got a few silver coins and a ring so far in addition to some clad. The large places can take many trips just to cover such a small part. The last few trips I been working the outskirt tree line and I think there may have been some tables/picnic area or something, as it's getting loaded with the pull tabs and got a few wheat pennies. To me that's a good sign.
