:usaflag: Back to old rocky park

Bill in Texas

New member
:twodetecting: I took my wife, for the first time to old hard rocky park. She found a dime and I found the rest. She said, "no more hard digging for her, and she is not coming back to old rocky park". You know I don't blame her, I don't think I will go back to that place again myself. In the center is a drop that someone had drilled 4 holes in and sewed it on cloth like a button. Far left is a Mr Gattis token. There is 2 quarters 4 dimes and eight pennies. Oldest coin is a 1946 penny. Bill in Texas :tesoro:

Bill,I hunted an old school once that was hard packed pea gravel just below the grass line. There were wheat's in the 20's found at this location but you needed a jackhammer to dig.Too much work in that old school yard ground.
