I took my wife, for the first time to old hard rocky park. She found a dime and I found the rest. She said, "no more hard digging for her, and she is not coming back to old rocky park". You know I don't blame her, I don't think I will go back to that place again myself. In the center is a drop that someone had drilled 4 holes in and sewed it on cloth like a button. Far left is a Mr Gattis token. There is 2 quarters 4 dimes and eight pennies. Oldest coin is a 1946 penny. Bill in Texas
Bill,I hunted an old school once that was hard packed pea gravel just below the grass line.There were wheat's in the 20's found at this location but you needed a jackhammer to dig.Too much work in that old school yard ground.
