:usaflag:Researching for a 2nd detector. Personally I think the 2500 is a little over the top for my needs. Any input is appreciated.

I had one and gave it to my nephew not too long ago. The GTI 1500 is like the GTI 2500, less the true all metal mode, the manual ground balance and surface elimination. I found thousands of coins with mine......

Lovin my 1500 MCdave once i figured it out

:usaflag:Thanks Bill.

I think the 1500 would suit me just fine. But, I'm thinking I will hold off for a bit and see what Garrett has up their sleeve. At this point my Ace is working perfectly, and with a new coil coming, I will have to put in some time with that.

And my wife suggested that since I have acquired an interest in water hunting I should buy an Infinium....gawd I love that woman !!

Only time will tell, and I have a whole winter to think it over. Thanks again for the input guys.

Yeah unless you just want the imaging and stuff the 250 with the DD coil or the 350 would satisfy you pretty well. I use my 250 way more than I do my 1500.

mcdave,
if you go with water detecting might i suggest a you-tube vidieo called , finding gold Vlll. the guy is a for real treasure hunter and compares the differant underwater machines. i don't do water hunting but did find the program very informative.

I hunt with the GTP 1350 and I think it's the best coin machine ever made! The 1500 is the same tector with a couple more sizes on it's imaging.:garrett:
