:usaflag:Another Perfect Day For Water Hunting!! :detecting:

Water beatifully clear, hardly a ripple, no wind, sunny day= my kinda day for hunting in the water!!

41/4 hours of hunting the same area I have hunted for the last 4 or 5 times out resulted in over 70 targets recovered, mostly junk!

Another Merc, even thinner than the last one, a heavy silver ST. Christopher medal such as I have never seen before and a heavily encased spark plug of an unfamiliar design which could just be a collectors item if it survives stripping the mineral/rust coating, all make up the spotlight finds for the hunt.

Nice finds, Navy St. Christopher, never have seen one of those. The SP looks like a lawnmower plug with the cap gone. HH

John, I cleaned up the spark plug a bit and was surprised at how much brass there is on it.

Looks like an "old timer" to me as I've never seen one like it before.

Well done CJ, sounds like you had a great time out there in the water :)

That medal is an interesting find.

Many thanks for your replies Friends!

It's foggy here at the moment, but by the time the tide is low enough to hunt theweather and water shoud be just right.

It'll then be time for my "metal detecting meditation".
