(They're all good hunts Friends!! )

Water was near perfect except the moon phase didn't drop it as far as I would like.

The day was clear and calm with a northerly breeze keeping it that way.

4 hours of hunting with 65 targets recovered (mostly keepers) with a fine Claddagh Ring from Ireland in the spotlight as best find of the day.

Digging 19 real pennies and two Zincolns got tiresome, but one never knows what will drop into the sifter.

10 nickels and not a buffalo in the bunch.

GL&HH Friends,

Cupajo,
And an unfired bullet. I normally get those on land. Have yet to get one in the water. I guess bullets get dropped everywhere.
You have been really getting the hunting time in! Makes me look forward to retiring.
Keep it up!
Cheers,

There are days when my work schedule has enough wiggle room for me to get in a hunt, but I am far from retired TVR!

As a plumbing repairman with over 40 years experience I have been slowed down by the economy and age, but I am still a working stiff, not retired!

Thanks for your reply Friend!

GL&HH,

CJ

I found and still have a ring just like that, do you know what the symbal means?

I don't know enough to be sure, but there is a religious significance if memory serves.

They were originally created in Ireland and are popular world wide now with a huge variety available.
.
There is a wealth of information on Google too.

Its a Claddagh ring, here's the link to Wikipedia -
