At 2PM locally we were at the top end of the outgoing tide and my favorite time for starting a water hunt. The day was overcast and almost cold and the water was calm with hardly any wind to stir things up.
Mr. Dual Field, Diablo and this Old Hunter waded out a few yards from where I found the gold ring yesterday.
Listening for those "disturbances in the force" that marks a deep target for digging required all my attention and targets seemed to show up out of nowhere.
It was so quiet I could hear perfectly those tiny little wobbles in the threshold I was listening for.
Nickles and clad, a couple of fishing sinkers and an hour into the hunt a white gold 14K wedding band with no inscription!
As targets seemed to be dropping in number I opted to scout a spot down the beach a ways and shortly I added the nice silver ring and more sinkers, a couple of .45 caliber bullets and a few more coins to the pouch.

The tide was still low at the 3 hour mark, but I was fading fast after the 5 hour hunt yesterday and headed home.
Between the two spots 56 Targets recovered in 3 hours today, 6 targets more than yesterday's return in 5 hours! (It's amazing how these totals can change from day to day!)
The Treasure Gods smiled down on this Old Hunter once again and I'm most grateful!
