:usaflag: A Rare Gold Find!! :detecting:

Todays early AM water hunt started with calm water and temperatures in the mid-30s with no wind to speak of.

Three hours and 30 hard earned finds from the Rock Garden were enough for the day as the wind by then was brisk out of the south east stirring up waves that were jumping the sand bar and threatening to swamp my hunting partner Frank and myself.

Mr. Dual Field, Diablo and I got a fine workout with a couple of rare finds as a result.

My 3rd target (the third nickle in a row) was this 1902 V nickle and the 11.3 Gram, 14K Med Alert bracelet was near the last of the targets recovered. The silver ring fell in the middle somewhere.

PI Joe, if you remember where I was hunting the day of your visit you'll know where I recovered the gold. Navel deep water, just inside (on dry land side) of the sand bar where the sand had thinned out some, produced the majority of the finds.

My work load has been picking up and my time for hunting is becoming limited therefore I shall be posting very little for the forseeable future.

I have enjoyed interacting with all you fine folks at this forum and will check in often, but posts will be limited.

Many thanks for all your kind words Friends,

CJ

Enjoy reading your posts CJ and hope you can find the time to hunt and post some
of the keepers you find. Work is important, but so is water hunting!! GL

Nice finds CJ. Work can be an irritating interruption to the things we like doing....but...we do have to eat. Take care!

nice finds, the nickle looks pretty good compared to some of the silver coins you have showed, the water must have been nice to that one.

Nice items found and gold.
Thanks for the ride and post.
Will watch for your imput whenever you can.

A nice finish to a long string of good hunting. Hope to see you back in the hunt before too long!
Cheers,

Thanks tvr!

I was thrilled with this find to post as my "final" interesting object.

I've never seen one posted anywhere before in gold.

Many thanks for your continued interest in my posts and all your thoughtful replies Friends!!:clapping:

Good Luck & Happy Hunting to you one and all!!

True story, I found a sterling medical necklace. It was beautiful and heavy with a medalion. I called the company and they said they would like it back. I asked if they would send it back to the owner. They said no, they would melt it down. The refused to even let me know if the owner was alive still. I asked if they would send it back to them with a note from me inside. Also refused. Needless to say, I added it to my scrap silver. They probably charged the owner a pretty penny for a new one.

Listen Lou, for a hunter of your caliber, a job is an unprofitable expenditure of your time, and a nuisance! :rofl:We sure hope to see some more gold from you in between working and sleeping! WTG!
