A west wind made water hunting kinda "iffy", but what the hey------

Yesterday's scouting the area paid dividends today!

An hour into a 3 hour hunt and Mr. Dual Field, Diablo and I had these 2-10K rings in the pouch!! (Another '64 Class ring.)

We spent 2 more hours and recovered 30 targets looking for #3 and decided we'd had about all the fun we could stand for one day and went home!

GL&HH Friends,

CJ

PS mAYBE #3 WILL COME HOME WITH US NEXT TIME!!

Good on the gold:clapping:

Congrats CJ, on the great finds. I hate to be the one who tells the king he's is not wearing any clothes, but....where are the pics? Well done anyway...not doubt ing that you found them, but you usually supply great pics of the finds. Good luck on No.3. HH:)

with a post like this, and NOT have to provide pictures! Heck, he coulda said he found a dozen, and none of us would have thought it strange!
Good work again old Pal!

spot on, mudpuppy...a great detectorist, a great publicist and a gentleman to boot. CJ, you are an inspiration to the rest of us...all 'round the world. Keep up the good work, and keep these posts coming....they keep the rest of us going. HH

There was surely a diamond in the signet ring, but as it's 10K it may have been glass!?

Friends, you honor this semi-retired (mostly tired) Old Plumber/Hunter with your kind words!

Thank you,

CJ

Water hunting can be an amazing experience!

There have been times when I put in 40 hours of hard work, over a week or two of hunting, with a lot of junk, some clad and a little silver to show for it and on the very next hunt I've walked away with three gold rings in less than a couple of hours!!

My "method" varies, but on most days I swing my coil where ever it "feels right", making educated guesses and following hunches!

When I am searching for a lost ring I will follow a loose grid pattern.

I still don't know how it works, but the results speak for themselves!!

I have it on good authority that the harder I work, the luckier I'll get!!

GL&HH Friends,

CJ

Thanks for the pics CJ...nice work and a couple of great finds.Hard work surely pays off, but sometimes it is those "feelings", which come from experience, that really help put the icing on the cake. Take care and HH
