:usaflag:Went back to the park, which I've nicknamed Franklin Peace Park, in honor of my big silver finds there. Lots of aluminum scraps as usual...was swinging towards my truck and got another big silver tone. Just two inches below was this monster sitting there....I thought.."No way can I possibly find two in a week". I picked it up and realized right away that it was too heavy to be a dollar coin. It is a 1980 $1 token for the Riverside Casino & Resort in Laughlin, Nevada. How the he!! did it get way up here? Interesting find anyways.

Its amazing how things get around McDave I'm in central Ohio and I found a token from Salem Oregon last week. Have you found alot of tokens?
I have found 2 and they were both in the same hole last week. One was for ABC (automated batting cages) In Salem Oregon. there was a number on the token and I called it.The place was closed but the recording I got made it sound as though ABC made batting cage equipment. the other token was for a batting cage but it didn't say where. I found these tokens at a park about 4ft off a merry go round.

:usaflag:I've found a couple old arcade tokens, and a 5 cent trade token from South Dakota. Trade token was worth a little bit...I ended up trading it for a Barber half-dollar. Good times.

Great find. I've found several from Vegas, Reno, and Washington. My heart skipped a beat on all of them until I got a good look at them.

Congrats on the digs Dave! I've got a $1 token from the Mirage in Vegas that found its way into the Indiana dirt too.
