Hi Mikie,
I like the Excal I have too, but it is limited for depth as compared to the PI machines and once an area has been picked over very well so the finds are few and deep the Excal is not enough.
The beach nearby stopped producing for my Excal, but keeps anteing up for my PI machines.
I found this one along with 32 beer bottle caps, a couple of silver bracelets, hair pins, a small silver ring, a toe ring and a few coins (all clad maybe a dollars worth) in three hours of perfect tide this PM using the DF!
