4.0 more hours of water hunting at the private beach where I got the gold yesterday was a real workout for my hunting buddies, Mr. Dual Field, Diablo and myself!!

56 targets recovered with a fine 9.4 Gram 18K wedding band as the spotlight find of the hunt!! ($383.00 at todays gold price.)

A small silver toe ring, crucifix and silver quarter helped keep things interesting.

The ring was shoulder deep and most of a hundred yards from the water's edge. (PI Joe, you would need a snorkel to recover this one!!)

The day was so warm my wet suit was too hot for shallow water so I mostly stayed out from waist to shoulder deep.

I got the color balance off a bit in the pics, but you should have no trouble recognizing what's shown.

The huge snap hook is brass or bronze and I have never seen one that large. (The hook was straightened out and broken.)

That snap hook looks like old bronze sailboat gear. Straightening out like that is why I never trusted those things...
