Mild day, water warm enough, but a brisk SW wind had the water jumping. One swell almost knocked me down and another nearly went over my head!

The only place I could get in the water was at the Boulder Field where I found my last 2 gold rings.

A few clad, one Rosie Silver Dime, and a brass ring nearly eaten away by the elements were the score for today!

Dual Field, Diablo and this Old Hunter got a real workout! (Ever dug a small target or even a hairpin from among bolders 1'-3' in diameter?"

.22 cal bullets are fun to recover too.

Oh well, as I said, "It ain't about the money!"

One of the most frequent questions I get when water hunting is, "What are you looking for out there? " or something like that.

My standard reply is, "I'm looking for a little sanity in an insane world!"

I've only had one person who couldn't relate to that and instantly agree with me.

That person looked at me as if I had two heads and wandered off muttering to herself something about "another nut".....................

I still am searching for 5 that were lost "somewhere between here and Long Island!!"

Some years i have several calls and others not. (Last year I returned 4 and this year 2.)
