The hunt was nothing spectacular with its 39 targets recovered and these two sterling silver rings.

But when I got home I inspected the wear on what is left of the Dual Field coil cover and found that there is not much left after a couple of hundred hours of hunting in Connecticut's rocky shoreline waters.

There are remnants of truck-bed liner spray (Which didn't stick) and yellow tool handle plastic coating (which didn't stick) and the white marine silicone I used to glue the cover on when I found it badly worn this past spring.

I called White's and ordered a new cover at only $15 plus shipping.

Maybe I can get a few hundred more hours outa Mr. Dual Field's coil,

CJ

Silver is good.
Rough area for coils for sure .
Extra cover should help.
