:usaflag: 21/2 Hour Hunt In Shelter Cove!! :detecting:

As the wind settled down the gentle swells flattened a bit making digging and searching a lot easier for Mr. Dual Field, Diablo and myself.

Even so, the deep sands are hiding the really good stuff which I am convinced is there.

The tide was low enough about 1:30 and since it is dark here a little after 4:30 I didn't waste any time starting at 1:35PM.

I worked the shallows parallell to the water's edge and when I reached the east end of the beach I headed into deeper water about 75 yards out from the water's edge.

This is my third hunt here and I have removed enough easy targets that now I have to teally search for a signal.

I've removed maybe a dozen really deep nickels that only gave a hint of a signal in the three hunts there.

I'll change my Dual Field batteries and see if that helps as most of the targets are deep in the sand. (So far I haven't found a bottom to it!)

Today was a clad , huge sinker, mood ring, two silver dimes day!

Maybe next time---!!

'til then,

Old silver good finds .

Deep sand, weak signals= 2 silver dimes!!

Dual Field does it again!!

I'm hoping to spend more time hunting there when the conditions are calm and quiet to improve my chances of hearing those faint signals.

Maybe I'll have more to post!!

HH Friend,

CJ
