And was full of Gambling Addicts throughout IKE, and she had to go in and work?
Lauberge du lac Casino Boat is permanently moored to the dock, and it was not until Sunday
when the boat shifted 16 inches on the side where you enter that the La. State Police made them
shut it down? [I guess its UNSAFE to lose money on an unlevel deck.]
Well, they say bad news travels in threes. We just found out my wife's mom died of a heart attack after being
comatose for 5 days. Now we have to fly to the Philippines. Get this; I don't have a passport, and the
Office in New Orleans is knocked out by Gustav, and the one in Houston is out due to Ike.
BUT, I can get a temporary passport for a measly $400, locally. Our government at work!

Sorry to hear about your mother in law buddy. Have a safe trip.

Like what would have happened if she had evacuated? Lose her job or lose a couple days work? I can not believe anyone could fire anyone for heeding an evacuation order. Don't make sense to me.

Sorry your wife had to work in them conditions, I'm sure both of you were worried what Ike would bring. My condolence of the loss of your mother in law.

are only closed Christmas. Otherwise, they are 24/7 operation. Lately they have been on the news as the state gets a percentage of the slot income that thats dropped off quite abit.

And while she had a room at the Casino, it was for her and other employees-had I lost power I guess I would
have slept on casino floor.
