US pin era?

Anyone have an idea what era this pin could be from? Its about the size of a half dollar. I found it around an old farm where my father in law grew up. The back to it is missing. I have found pins from ww2, and the vietnam war on this farm because his family members served in them, bug this looks older. Less than an 1/8 mile from this farm i have found civil war era buttons and ceramic pieces with dates of 1864 in a camp by a spring so i am wondering if this could be civil war. There was supposed to have been a trail close to this farm from the fort that is 10 miles away. Any info would help. Thanks

I found one of these years ago on a piece on leather in the ground. I was told ww 1 but can't verify. Three bent tabs held in place
