Sent my old Exclaibur back to factory for some repair work and ordered me a new one Monday and got it yesterday afternoon.So me and sanddigger hit the lane last night at Midnight for the 130 low tide.Ran into Ray from Roanoke Va. the guy with one leg still had the mumbles Also seen Duke and a couple guys from hampton were in the lane last night.We did not do a whole lot just wasn't many targets.Stayed on the beach until 4 and got home around 5 this morning. So by 11:00 I was on my way back to the lane for the afternoon low tide. Guess what still not much in way of targets. No silver or gold for me today.Ran into Low Tide Tim and Duke this afternoon and did not see any other surf pirates.The beach was loaded with people but the sand is not moving around much and the tide seems like it is not going out as far as it does some times.Lots of porpoise swimming around this afternoon. Here is a spin down the lane

Hey man...nice pics. How you lovin' those awesome YELLOW headphones on your new Excal???

Reason I ask is that so many people have said how "great" they are and I was feeling a little left out with my crappy blue ones. Until I HEARD me some yellow ones, that is! Dang, what a mistake THAT was...the Koss phones, IMHO, have a HORRIBLE tone to them...far inferior to the blue ones. I had to wonder...why do folks SEEM to think they're better...because they're YELLOW and LOOK cool? Keep 'em, if you ask me!

Yea, I got my Excal 1000 a month ago and I hate those phones. I am going to order a pair of waterproof GreyGhost and send them to Minelab to have them put on along with a connector so I can change if I need to. Bobby

Do you ever get people who come up to you and say things like: you can't stay here, or you'll get in trouble if you don't leave... Just asking, since I saw you are doing MDing during the day in full season. Here in Italy, I hit the beach in November and I'd still get the odd guy (usually the only guy on the friggen beach) come up to me and say I can't do any MDing. Or on a rainy day, the guys guarding the beach where you pay "toll", would keep me away from their territory and then watch me hit the free beach with envy.
