Upper Rod Question

Just bought a pulse and it has the Whites lower rod on it. Now the upper piece is ok but I think there might be a better upper rod/cuff set up that perhaps is made by Whites or that will fit a Whites lower rod. Or I could "fit" the coil on what you folks believe is a better lower and upper shaft not made by whites for water hunting. The unit is a hip mount. What do you say?

on my detector pro pi I used a lower white's shaft on the top and put a whites slt hip mount upper stright arm over it. fully adjustable now.

What is an HD arm cuff. Anyone see the how to's on this site to building a straight shaft? Thank you all.
