upgrading to v2

Anybody know or has upgraded there machine to the v2 version. How much and what do you get? Mine is one of the first ones out and I would not mind an upgrade. I didn't' want to sell it and upgrade. I am sure it wont be worth much on a trade either.Where does one inquire about the upgrade?

Just got upgrade for my old one last month...copy and pasted quote from minelab..."The battery is an upgraded lithium ion, so better power, along with some cosmetic changes along with new gaskets to improve waterproof ability. We have a kit that retails for $129, which is the battery, gaskets as well as a new AA holder." Got mine direct from Minelab ...haven't seen it offered anywhere else. As far as the "cosmetic changes" , it is in the lip of the battery where it seals up against the unit...to help protect from contamination....AA holder the same cosmetic changes. The gasket looks the same as was in it. The big question is...was it worth it?......to be determined...lol. I would say that if you are using it in water...then it may be worth it....but if you are not...and your battery is still good, it probably wouldn't be worth it. I still use my old battery and new battery...but am sure to use my new battery when I take it to the water (with an oversized gasket seal).
