Upgraded Grips for Fisher GBP\Teknetics G2 ??

Greetings.

I love my Fisher Gold Bug Pro but I do have one complaint. The foam grip does not hold tight and feels a bit thin. So I'm always try to get comfortable with it when I hit the pin point button.

Anyone knows of any upgraded grips that would work? Are most modern detectors S shape poles the same diameter?

Any help or info would be appreciated.

Hi Larry, Go to any sports store and get the raps for a tennis racket. They don,t leave a sticky glue on your handle and make it feel grate. I have been trying to rap all my detectors handles with it. Good luck
 
I used that gun rap stuff same sort of thing I guess as a racket grip , I just rapped it over the foam works good :clapping:

Yes get a G2 buddy. Better ergonomics hands down.
 
I think the GBP has the better ergonomics. I guess it depends on your arm and how you swing. I bought the G2 but preferred the GBP so I kept the GBP and sold the G2. Now also have the F19 (same config as the GBP).
