Upgraded AT Pro

Well about two weeks ago I received my AT Pro back from Garrett (sent in for leaking issue and upgrades) and after a bit of hunting with it I must say I am pleased. I have found it to be more comfortable so I can hunt longer and I noticed that tones are different then they were before sending it in. I put a good coat of silicon grease (purchased at Lowes) on the headphone and coil connectors and I have been in the water a few times with no issues. Overall I am very happy with the upgrade. Now, if I move to Northern California I'll have to get me the new AT Gold!!!

I am also liking the way my upgraded At Pro is working. Have only been out with it three times so I am still getting used to it again. One thing that seems more pronounced now than before the upgrade is the multi-tone blip I get for shallow zinc pennies. It may just be me since I have not hunted since June.

My boys new ATP sounds different then my older 1, GB a slightly different too.
They both work flawlessly.
ID numbers are almost the same... give or take a digit.
