I HAVE THE MINELAB XTERRA 305. I AM CONSIDERING AN EXPLORER SE PRO, AS I WANT BETTER DEEPER TARGETS. I HAVE HEARD THAT THIS IS POSSIBLE WITH THE EXPLORER AS IT SEPARATES BETTER THE GOOD FROM THE BAD. I'M ALSO CONCERNED ABOUT HOW HARD IT IS TO LEARN AND GET COMFORTABLE WITH THE EXPLORER. PLEASE TELL ME YOUR REVIEW AND WHAT YOU FEEL.
THANKS, JIM

Its a tough learning curve but worth it.I was having trouble until I got Andys book & joined this forum It really helped me. Good luck

I WATCHED A COMPARISON OF ONE OF THE EXTARRA'S AND THE SE PRO/E-TRAX ONE OF THE TWO. AND THE EXTARRA GAVE ONLY A SOUND EVERY 2 OR 3 PASSES AND THE SE PRO WAS A SOLID SWEET SOUND EVERY TIME HE SWUNG OVER THE TARGET.
YOU WILL LIKE. HH

I had an Explorer XS several years ago, but recently had an Xterra 70 and decided I missed the XS. Now have an Explorer II. The Explorer does get better depth and if you go slow you'll *probably* pick goodies out of trash better. The Xterra actually does pretty good. If your ground is highly mineralized you'll get much better depth with the Explorer.

THANKS FOR YOUR COMMENTS. I WISH I KNEW ALOT MORE ABOUT THE EXPLORER. WHAT WAS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE EXLPORER,EXPLORER II ,EXPLORER XS ECT.
PLEASE TELL ME MORE!!

Each one in the series had a few tweaks/improvements done to it. The XS, then the II, then the SE, then the SE Pro. You can choose which one you think you can afford, and then start there -- they all find the silver!

As someone who owns them all, can you tell me, how much faster is the SE Pro compared to SE, 10%...50% ?

Thanks,
Rick

[size=large]the se is the same as the se pro. the pro just comes std. with the 11" pro coil.
