Upgrade batteries from NiMh to Li-Ion

Good morning from Cyprus.
I have a Minelab Etrac and I want to upgrade the batteries from NiMh to Li-Ion.
The standard pack are 8 NiMh of 1.2V total 9.6V.
How many Li-Ion of 3.7V can I use???
Is there any other better solution?
Have a nice Sunday hunding..

Completely agree with HighPlainsHunter and roadapple! RnB rocks! When you finally have to charge the battery, it's less than 2 hours! The Minelab battery pack needs 18 hours to charge!

RnB are the best. I get at least 60 hours hunt time before totally dead. then pop them on the charger for a 2 hour total recharge.

+1 on the best of the best "RnB" battery ! You will thank yourself later on !!!

+2 Seems to last forever and it is significantly lighter than a regular 8 cell AA battery pack as well as the Minelab rechargeable.
