Well guys i lowerd my sense to 3 and my thresh to -10for the blacksand beach. Still got a lot of fals signals trying to detect in the surf. 1ft to 6in water. So basicaly i thin im going to give up on hunting the tide line. It is just too unstable arround the water. But it did get it to work simi decent on the hard packed dirt. (still falsing tho)
Well let me ask this, If im diggin a lot of foil wrapers and other junk is that a good sign? I kow from what ive read that gold rings etc.. look like foil a lot of the time. SO>>>>?
Other settings, Salt off, (recamended by the manual for black sand beaches) averaging off, Disk 99,
Well i only found 1 quarter and 2 pennys (clad) at the beach,, But later at a park i found 87cents clad and a Watch! lol

Yep, I know it gets a little frustrating, but when I hunt the beach or water, I LOOK for foil and pulltabs. I have found some really NICE "pulltabs" <img src="/metal/html/wink.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=";)"> You just keep diggin them and it will pay off.
