Update Question???

I just bought a new PC and loaded in the eXchange 2 program. After the download was complete, the program showed a ( ! ) icon at the top of the page indicating a new update. Now my CTX has both the updates loaded into it, saltwater and PP lock, so why the ( ! ) icon? Is this just the way the program works when loaded into a new computer? I didn't have to re-register. My log on name and password worked fine. So if this is normal, how do I get rid of the ( ! ) icon? Do I have to hook up my CTX? I looked in the CTX manual and the eXchange 2 manual but could not find an answer. Thanks in advance for any help in this matter.

I'd suggest you plug in your CTX to identify the current operating load in the detector. (process described on page 54 of manual) If you have the current loads installed, the (!) icon should go away. If you are not current, you should follow the download procedure. BTW, the "load" that included Saltwater and locking the pinpoint were included in the same update. The first update addressed the "shut down" problem regarding the Li-Ion battery pack. JMHO HH Randy
