Update On The Robins.....

The Baby Robins are growing up quick. Mom and Dad Robin have been feeding them constantly. They have an insatiable appetite. I took this pic with my old Sony Mavica only because it has the 10X Zoom and I'm able to get a real closeup shot without disturbing them...But as you can see the quality CAN'T even compare to the 3 meg Nikon!...It's been fun watching this project from Mom building the nest, to sitting on and hatching the eggs, and now her and papa bird doing the feeding....We also have had a nest of baby bunnies in the yard and they have left the nest and all are running rampant over the back yard...Cute little suckers....I'd like to get a pic of them together. Maybe you could ask the bunnies to pose! Haaaaa. It must feel good to follow the robins to maturity. I just saw a baby robin in my back yard that had just left the nest and was on the ground. Could barely fly a few feet. Nearby was the mother (daddy?). You could tell she was concerned. This is the most dangerous time as this is when the cats get their fill. Thanks for sharing Doug.
