...The beach resort going back to the 50's,I got permission to detect,it is down the street from us......There is one more big section I have left to detect.So far,I have found a couple wheat pennies and modern clad,and a beat up child's junk gold ring,best so far is a 'GI JOE' dogtag near the tether ball pole,..Lots of trash in the ground:,along with a buried 'trash and bottle dump',(owner said 'NADA!!!',to digging there......)...
Our ever-loving 'sounds like gold' pulltabs,balls of aluminium foil,bottletops of course.I have to take a second bag just for the junk I find,makes the owner happy.This last piece of ground is probably 100' by 100',I might grid it,making sure to overlap my swings.....Stay tuned......
