My sister tried to call me 3 times while I was out mowing and mulching my front and side yards' leaves, so she emailed me....very nice now that we both have computers and the Internet!!
Everett, called her by charging his Cell Phone battery or batteries with his car battery, she said! He hasn't had electric since hurricane Wilma came ashore and the telephone pole is down with wires hanging, so he can't use the house phone. He says it will be at least 3 more weeks before he has electric and is getting help with ice and food. All that he had in the refrigerator spoiled. Must be rough down there with many out of electric....even gas stations! They have to find gas stations with gas and electric to pump them! What a mess for the Florida people!
He lives in Hollywood right between Miami and Ft. Lauderdale where it hit the worst from what I hear!
Well it's bedtime and I'm tired and sore from doing leaves and still have plenty more in backyard! Nice today and supposed to be nicer tomorrow!
