Update on lost wedding band.

While vacationing in Virginia Beach on the bay side a young man lost his wedding band and wanted us to find it. I tried while he was still there and no luck. It was not until after he left and the tides were the lowest with the full moon did I locate the ring in chest deep water farther out than what he had indicated.. He left his name, address, email and phone number and I contacted him. Both he and his bride were extremely happy that I had found it since they had just been married in March and the ring was custom made. I sent it back to him in Colorado and the ring rests on his finger now!

Chest deep water at night with a full moon? Am I hearing this correctly? Please tell me you have found rings in much shallower water and were you hunting alone at night. Man, thats impressive.


I think about knee deep at night is the best I can do.

Full moon low tide also occurred mid-day......that is when I found the ring. I would be to chicken to be hunting in chest deep water at night!!
