Update on lost park 2016 totals

Here is the totals from the site I found last spring.

32 silver coins
3 I.H.
2 v.n.
8 buff
80 wheat pennies
7 nicks from the 30s and 40s

The last time I had posted about this spot my finds was without finding any clad and that still stands true. However I took a friend along for the last hunt before the snow flew here in Mi and he found the oldest and newest coin at this site.

He found a1898 I.H. and a 1964 penny along with a merc dime. these are not shown as he has them.

Our best guess is this might have been an old sledding hill. We don't think it will produce what it did in 2016 but after viewing this site in a different light we have some areas that may be good. I will keep you updated

That was a great spot to find. If you can keep hitting it I would. You never know what may surface after the ground thaws.

That's a great site and way to go on the research to locate it. I hope it keeps producing those oldies for ya!
