Update on job interview....

...I have been offered a full time position with the furniture co. I worked 8 years for. But not a sales position. The position offered has no title but entails managing the floor, making sure furniture in the warehouse gets displayed, making sure there are sales tags on all the furniture, solving customer problems, placing special orders for furniture and tracking those orders, inventory, customer service, etc., etc. It will be a salaried position with the possibility of bonus'. Basically, I'll be the owners right arm. Since the position is new to the company there is no gaurantee of longevity. It would start as a 3 month trial run and if successful I guess it would be a permanent position. Many ifs are involved here but at the very least it will provide income when needed the most, through the holidays and winter. I won't know what the salary will be until later in the week. It is something I definitely need to pray about.

These people know what you are capeable of, and are aware that you will be an assett to their business or they would not offer you this job. God's promise is that He will bless everything that you set your hand to do, so jump in there, and give it your best shot.
I have been praying for your situation, and especially for Brian, and I know that many of us have been lifting you guys up. The word says that where two or more are in aggrement as touching anything, that we can bind things on earth even as they are in Heaven. In Heaven there is no lack, no illness of any kind, no poverty, no pain or sickness, and certainly no fear. All the promises of God have been provided through Jesus Christ. When satan tries to come against you, and reminds you of past things, just remind him of his future. We have read the end of The Book.

your every need and will work it out for your good by making it permanent or not. Just be thankful even if it is temporary to meet your needs through Christmas and the winter! When a door closes God always opens up another one and it is up to us to take advantage of the situation!

You never know how these things end up. I was out of work a few years back and sent my resume everywhere and I got a phone call from a guy who owns a glazing company (windows, curtain wall, etc.). He said he wanted to hire me but didn't have a position available.
I had NO experience in this type of work. I started a week later and my second day on the job I was given the keys to the place and made production manager. God was all over that. I had to learn the stuff from the workers under me, but God granted me favor in the eyes of the workers and in two months we broke every production record!
God will bless you in this job. Even if it only lasts three months, it's another step in God's will for your life!
