Update on getting back into Beach Hunting ( humor ...not )

What was I thinking .... My 20 year plus vintage equipment and expecting it to work like yesterday .... Back when I was into this real heavy and hunting most of the north east coast and inland to take a few years off (15 ?)and expect it to work like ol'. It was very foolish to think that my wet suit would still fit ...no , or the Viking Dry Suit ....Nope, that to seemed to have gotten a lot smaller.... What really hurt was to see the original battery pack in the ol' XL500 Garrett Pulse go belly up after I some how got in to the to small dry suit something that would be scary just to think about never mind seeing ....

Well my old stand by beach that always gave me gold rings or silver coins was very quiet, for the 10 minutes that the machine was working in top form before the battery quit ...
Good news Garrett is shipping out the new pack and I will be looking at a new wet suit at my old dive shop in Marshfield MA.

The TH'ing bug has bite me again ...

i've got the same problem with my wetsuit. you would think with all the advanced technology and material we have they could make one that didn't shrink.
