UPDATE ON CHRIS,,THE POOR THING IS EATING MY COOKING...

IT'S BEEN A WHILE SINCE I HAVE DONE ALL THE COOKING..I HAD BEEN DOING A GOOD JOB UNTIL THE DAY BEFORE YESTERDAY MORNING,,I MADE BISCUITS OUT OF PLAIN FLOUR..I WONDERED WHY THEY WOULDN'T RISE OR BROWN..THIS MORNING I FIXED BISCQUITS (cat head),,SAWMILL GRAVY(heavy cream to you up town folks)WITH HOME MADE PAN SAUSAGE CHIPPED UP IN IT..(you split the biscuit with a fork, open it up and spread gravy on one side ,butter the other side & And drizzle honey from my beehive on both of the half's) THIS GOES WITH A LARGE SLICE OF HAM I SMOKED & TWO YARD EGGS..I'M TELLING YOU ,CHRIS MIGHT STARVE TO DEATH BEFORE HER KNEE GETS WELL..
ALL JOKING ASIDE SHE IS HAVING A TOUGH TIME GETTING AROUND & GETTING IN A GOOD POSITION AT NIGHT SO SHE CAN SLEEP..NATURALLY HER KNEE IS SWELLED SO I PUT COLD COMPRESS ON & OFF TO HELP WITH THE SWELLING AND THE PAIN.
WE HAVE HIGH HOPES THAT THE OPERATION WILL BE A SUCESS..CHRIS IS AN EXCELLENT PATIENT BUT SHE STILL WON'T DRINK COFFEE WITH ME IN THE MORNINGS..GOD BLESS....HENRY

sounds good to me! You might try alternating warm with cold compresses unless the doc has told you cold only?

for the love and caring you are giving her. (My step-mother had knee surgery and because it hurt to do therapy to make it stronger she could no longer use that knee). Hang in there Chris and keep up working to make it stronger. God bless you Henry and Chris.
