Update on Brian...

...but first, thank you all for your prayers!! When Brian went back into surgery the same helpless, empty feeling returned as always knowing his life was in the hands of someone other than myself. But then, a sudden peace and comfort overtook me and it struck me as odd...I wasn't worried at all about the surgery. I KNEW all would go well. And, I know why I felt that way...thanks for praying.

Brian is in ICU as I write this and he is awake and talking to us. He didn't require a transfusion but they weren't able to work on the pallet because the doc feared he would lose to much blood. He isn't out of the woods yet though. We should be in a room tomorrow and hopefully be released Thursday.

Yesterday, after getting all the pre-op stuff out of the way we took a drive to see some of the sites around Nashville. We went to Centennial Park and walked around the pond and then went to see the replica of the Parthenon.

For some reason I'm not able to upload pics from my laptop to this forum but I am able to upload to my photo site. I don't know why that is!!

Brian takes a break, here: http://www.pbase.com/photodug/image/96345908

The Parthenon at night.

Such a blessing to hear good news about Brian and praying he will be more than an overcomer in Christ Jesus! He looks so sweet and innocent in the pic and the Parthenon lit up at night is a beautiful pic, too! May the Lord hold you all close in His loving arms and surround you with His comfort and peace!

God Bless!

Thanks again for your prayers!!

Isn't God wonderful in helping Brian to overcome his surgery so quickly? Glad to hear you will be going home soon! Take care and tell Brian and everyone that I said, HELLO!
May Brian continue to improve and you all are still in my prayers! Praise God and Thank You, Jesus, for answered prayers!
