I know we are welcome to post our prayer requests here but sometimes I feel like we are wearing out our welcome. It seems like very little positive news comes from my posts and I can't help but feel like we are burden to all of you fine folks on this forum. Oh, how I wish I was posting finds from an outing with Brian, but it doesn't look like that will happen again. So, I get my MD'ing thrill by seeing what all of you are finding. And, I enjoy it.
Brian has been in a lot of pain with this fracture. He told me tonight that he thinks he may have damaged the rods in his tibia because the pain runs the length of the bone. I just gave him his last round of pain meds and he is sleeping peacefully for now.
In the morning, we go to Children's Hospital for a 3D c-scan of his face and skull. He has to lay flat for the scan and he has a hard time laying flat because the tumors in his throat cut off his airway making him feel like he is suffocating. He can still breathe through his trach but he panics because of the way it feels. Please pray we can get the scan done.
Wednesday, we go to the orthopedist for more x-rays and hopefully just a cast. If the rods are bent he will have to have surgery to have them replaced.
April 6th is our appointment with the plastic surgeon to schedule tumor reduction surgery.
There are a lot of new people on the forum and I apologise for not welcoming each one of you personally but lately I don't have much computer time. And, I can't type!! So...WELCOME!! And thank you for taking the time to pray for Brian and our family.
I need to get off of here and hit the sack.
Thanks and God bless!!
