The first place where I met you guys someone found a complete shell in there on Saturday. I think it was in the low spot to the left as you go toward the hill you were working. The side of the creek toward the road.

Nice seeing you again, sorry you guys didnt find more.

All I can say is they earned it! I went over in there and dang near lost a boot! It was pretty muddy over there! I guess the true measure of success is if you would do it again......and I would! You just have to get the coil over it. It was good to see you again. I wish we could have stayed another day. How did you guys make out in that trash pit you found?

Compliments of Motel 6. They left the light on for us alright! As a matter of fact, I think the amigos in the next room left theirs on all night too!:ranting: I think the local P.D. left the blue lights on most of the night as well. That just kept the crack dealers on their toes! They actually had a couple security guards on duty this time. I think they should get an extra half a star on their review just for that. I give it 2 1/2 stars.

"Where NOT to eat on a Relic Hunt"

BFL could do the followup report.

We got a few nice medicine bottles and a lot of broken pottery. Very few older items. Mostly 1920s and 30s I think. I was hoping for an older layer underneath but it doesnt look like it.

Ill still check it again though. The rake broke so I did what I could with out it.

Like I said, come on up anytime. Also, after June 1st Ill have plenty of room to put you up. Moving over to the the new place I told you about. On the confederate picket line between 2 colonial houses. One build 1770s the other 1740s. All I have to do is walk out the back yard and turn on the detector. Hundreds of acres of fields to keep me busy.

I just wanted to say thanks for letting Tony and I hangout with you on Saturday. I really enjoyed meeting you and also hunting with you. Thanks for helping me find my first bullet and even giving me the ones you found also. It was a real treat for me to hunt where some "war action" really happened. It gets kind of boring down here in North Carolina.........Thanks again and I hope to see you again real soon!!!!

That always makes you go running for Toilet paper?? Is it really "Transylvainia" for Tony?? :lmfao:

Glad you were able to get that place to live....That must be the place where my Hotchkiss fuse came from right?? Since you'll be living right there you could even set up a sifting operation where that "house" stood....

Im with ya... Ill be cutting down the weeds and doing a real dig for sure! Can wait, has to be some good stuff in there.
