Good video! Glad to see it arrived intact.. it looks like you are a harbor freight customer...I have the same gloves and knee pads...

Yes Sir, you caught it...

harbor freight has a really cheap but good pinpointer too, good for starting out on a budget or a youth.

Great product review! Thanks for taking the time to post this!

Great video FishBellyDigger! Very informative! The only thing I might consider is the foam padding for the inside of the top lid of the case. Do you think it would be necessary or is the CTX pretty secure the way it is when the case is closed?

Just ordered one for my 3030. Thanks for the report.

Good job and go Hokie's!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hmmm, nice case. When I flew to Hawaii from the mainland a few months back I just put the detector in my checked baggage. The hard-shell baggage worked fine - just wrapped all the detector parts in clothing. The only glitch was the rod assembly was longer than the diagonal length of the suitcase. So, I wrapped it in Christmas wrapping paper (with snowmen on it) and carried through the airport and put it in the overhead compartment. Cost $35 for each bag at the airport - weighed before leaving to make sure it was within requirements.

Reassembled upon arrival and hit the beach. All's good.
